Fun at the Mela


‘Eat, Play and be merry’ was the foremost aim of Diwali Fete 2014 which was organized on Oct. 12, 2014. Today’s life is full of hectic activities. One is always busy in one matter or the other. One needs ventilation of one’s pent up feelings. A Cut together restores our natural vigor and cheerfulness. Festivals relieve us of more worries & anxieties. They enable us to take up our work again with redoubled zeal and energy. The excitement among students started when they got their lucky numbers for the Diwali bumper. Every year our school go for Diwali Fete Likewise this year also all vasantarians had enjoyed it with pomp and show. Eatable stalls consisting tempting cuisins were fully crowded.
On the other hand, Game stalls were point of enjoyment for all. It might be Baloon shooting, Magical numbers, Pot Luck or Ping, Pong Ball. Students were crazy for musical chairs and Tambola. Everybody was in full swings. Camel riding entertained the people and increased the glory of the fete. Blooming buds were seen on bouncing Mickey- Mouse. Talent Hunt Corner was the cheerful and chanting experience of all. Overall everybody departed with smiles on their faces and captured their sweet memories to recall.
Exhibition ‘Virsa’ was organized to make the students aware of Punjabi culture and antique things.




The Diwali blast

With Diwali round the corner, teachers of VVPS celebrated the festival of Diwali by organizing a colorful exuberant carnival ‘Diwali Fete’ on Oct 12, 2014. The fete commenced with the worship of Goddess Lakshmi. Decorated school campus added charm and religious fervor to the atmosphere. Teachers unfolded their creative abilities in a string of activities by putting up various stalls of delicious, fun games, talent hunt etc. The main attraction of the day was ‘Luck Draw’ that announced 101 lucky winners of fascinating gifts offered by school authorities. Samsung Tab III Neo was the first prize, second and third prizes were the SMART PHONES and followed by various other gifts like Pen drives, Speakers,Tiffin’s, Bowl sets, Stuff toys etc. Teachers embellished their stalls and attached the crowd with the aroma of their tempting eatables, some teachers fascinated with fun games, musical chairs, bouncy. Children loved the Camel side. Teachers worked with full of zest and enthusiasm that kept their spirit of teamwork and devotion alive. An Art Gallery was also put up that exhibited antique things of Punjabi culture and heritage. Decorated in vibrant hews, the school had ambiance of joy and happiness.

DIWALI FETE...GREAT DAY IT WAS :))



With Diwali round the corner, teachers of VASANT VALLEY PUBLIC SCHOOL celebrated the festival of Diwali by organizing a colorful exuberant carnival “Diwali Fete” on Oct 12, 2014. ‘Eat, Play and be merry’ was the foremost aim of Diwali Fete.
