The day came when our excitement reached to the zenith with
broad smiles; we had reached school at 10a.m. It was Diwali Fete in our school.
All the students and their parents were happy with the arrangements as there
were many stalls of eatables and games. Our Deutsch friends liked camel riding
and game stalls. The little buds enjoyed the bouncing. We also played musical
chairs. We had a great fun. We came back home at 4.00 p.m. and took rest. One
day before we had packed our luggage for our trip to Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. We
had to start our journey at night with a great zeal. It was time to say Good Bye to host
families. We reached the school and could feel an emotional touch everywhere.
All the German friends were saying Good Bye to their host families with heavy
heart and even tears in their eyes. Our Chairman sir, Gupta Mam, Principal Mam
and Principal Sir of Vasant Valley Public School, Malerkotla presented a token
of love to the teachers of Jade Gymnasium. With heavy hearts everybody moved
from Sangrur. We captured all the moments.
