DIARY REPORT,OCTOBER 25,2013

DIARY BY: Arjit, 25th October, 2013

In the morning, we all got down with heavy heart as it was the last day of our German guests with us. But we wanted to make this a memorable day for all of us. We quickly finished our breakfast & set out for the day’s visit in New Delhi.  Firstly, we went to India Gate. We also saw Amar Jawan Jyoti there. The Germans were surprised to see names of Indian freedom fighters on bricks of India Gate. We had lot of pictures there. Then we departed for Kingdom of Dreams in Gurgaon. India is distilled into one iconic destination here. This fabulous kingdom brings to life a blend of India’s art, culture, heritage, craft etc. We visited there Nautanki Mahal, Culture gully, 5D Show Theatre.  We enjoyed our lunch in Culture gully. We were enjoying so much in the Kingdom of Dreams that we did not want to go from there. But we had to move for Ambience Mall. Most of us did shopping and finally had our dinner at the end of the day. As night was approaching, the time of departure from Germans was also coming near. Finally, we left for IGI Airport with our guests. We said then good bye to them. It was a wonderful time with them. These days will never be forgotten.

Got up early in the morning, took delicious breakfast and got excited for our next visit. We had gone to visit India Gate, New Delhi. After that we reached Kingdom of Dreams, Gurgaon. It was amazing. In Kingdom of Dreams we saw many new things related to 14 different states of India, their dresses, their culture and food. On a whole, it is a place where all types of famous Indian cuisines, handicrafts and art is available. We did a lot of shopping; got gifts for our German friends. We took Punjabi food in lunch. It was mouth watering. At last, we went to Ambience mall. It is one of the largest malls of Asia. The night fell and we got together for dinner. We had our dinner at the Ambience Mall, clicked pictures .Now was the time to depart between the Germans and the Indians. Everybody was a bit sad on the thought of getting apart and with the question that when will we meet again. We left for the IGI Airport, New Delhi from where our German friends had their flight back to their place. We all hugged each other and met with smiles and greetings. We wished them safe journey and bid adieu to them.
